I recently switched up my skincare routines, and these are definitely one of my most favourite posts to read about. So here we go!
First thing I do when I wake up is head into the bathroom. Okay… Not the first thing… I usually spend most of the first 30-45 minutes of being awake on my phone.
Firstly, I wash my face with the Dead Sea Spa Magik Mud Soap (I wrote a review on this brand here) to remove all the grime and grease thats accumulated on my face over night, and to also get rid of the last bits of the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I then pat my face dry with a clean towel. Afterwards, I come back in my room and use the Pixi Glow Tonic. I put this on a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face. Next, I spray the Mario Badescu Facial Spray all over my face and chest, and also use this in-between the day, especially when its hot and I need something cooling and refreshing! Finally, I use my Aveeno Cream to moisturise my face. This is the only moisturiser I have found that doesn’t break me out in the slightest, and soothes my psoriasis.
My nighttime routine is quite similar. I first, again use the Dead Sea Spa Magik Mud Soap, followed by the Pixi Glow Tonic, Mario Badescu Facial Spray, and my Aveeno Cream. Before I use the Aveeno Cream, I apply the Decleor Aromessence Baume Essentiel all over, in light strokes over my face. After this, I then apply the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion (Thanks Kylie Jenner) to all of my spots. This stuff is INCREDIBLE! I’m going to be writing a review on both Mario Badescu products, so watch out for that!
Every Other Day
Like I said in my Dead Sea Spa Magik review, I love their scrub and mask. I first apply their Mud Mask, whilst I run my bath. By the time I have ran my bath and got into it, the mask has completely dried. I then remove as much as I can with a facial cloth, and then use the Mild Exfoliator. This removes all the last bits of the scrub, and really cleans out my pores and removes any dead skin.
I have only just started to recently use these products, but I am IN LOVE. My face feels so soft and smooth, and there is no signs of any spots so far. I will admit, I have noticed I randomly get red patches on my face through out the day, which then settle down quite quickly, but this maybe due to the fact that my skin is getting used to a new routine. Also, I do notice the spray tends to make me somewhat oily looking, but this can easily be remove with a splash of water (after a while obviously), or oil blotting paper.
