Lush’s Dream Cream is their number one best selling product, and honestly, I’m not surprised after using this.
I had never heard of this product before I went into a Lush store, and one of the staff members there gave me a sample of the product to try, as I mentioned how I have psoriasis and eczema, and find it difficult to find moisturisers that don’t flare it up.
I’ll be honest. The sample sat in my makeup drawer for months before I remembered I had it. I soon popped it on, and straight away could feel how soothing the product was. I was hooked. It was only when I got my second tattoo, that I turned to the wonders of the internet, which told me that this could also be used as a tattoo healing moisturiser. I immediately went into my nearest Lush store and brought a 240g sized pot.
Dream Cream is a hand and body lotion, that has been created for sensitive and easily upset skin. The product has 22 ingredients in, with 15 of them being natural, which is something that is always a big selling point for me. It contains oat milk, which is known for its soothing and calming properties, and has been used since 2000BC. It also has rose absolute in, which has the same soothing properties as the oat milk.
The lotion itself is medium thickness, but glides on, and sinks into the skin so quickly, and doesn’t leave the horrible streaky white lines that you often get with other lotions.
The smell for me is amazing. It smells very clean and fresh, but is also quite subtle. I apply this after a shower or bath, and the smell stays on for only a short while. Personally, I wish the smell lasted longer…
- More than half of the ingredients are natural
- Multi use
- Long lasting
- Non greasy
- Fast absorbing
- Unhygienic packaging (Not a pump, so have to reach into the pot, spreading bacteria)
- Can be quite pricey (but does last a long time)
As you can see, the pros outweigh the cons. I would 100% recommend this to anyone, especially those with sensitive skin!
Dream cream retails at £6.95 for 100g, £13.50 for 240g, or £21.95 for 450g
