How To Have The Bath Of Your Dreams!

We all need a little unwinding sometimes. Get yourself in the tub, and follow these steps!

  1. Light Up Baby!
    (Not in that sort of way… Unless that’s your kinda thing…) Get your favourite smelling candles, tea lights or even LED candles and watch them glow! Nothing more relaxing than a candle lit bath.
  2. Mask Yourself!
    I personally like to put on a facial mask before I get into the bath, so the steam doesn’t affect the drying process, but sheet masks would work perfectly. Just ran out of your face mask? Read my DIY face mask tutorial HERE. Baths are also perfect opportunity to use a hair mask. Again, you can make these at home! Just mix 1 egg yolk, 2 tbsp of coconut oil, and 1 tbsp of honey. Leave on for around 30 minutes, and then use your usual shampoo and conditioner. You can thank me later.
  3. Bombs Away!
    Get yourself some bath salts, bath bombs or bubble bath (I won’t judge if you use all three. I’ve considered it), and soak up in the bubblieness.
  4. YOU Are The Music Man!
    Create a playlist, and bring in a speaker into the bathroom with you. Play some soothing ocean sounds, or some AC/DC. Whatever floats your boat! Just please be careful with electronics around water, especially if they have to be plugged in. Water and electronics DON’T mix.
  5. Choose Your Poison!
    Personally for me, a glass (or bottle) of wine and a hot bath go better together than peanut butter and jelly. Get yourself a cooling, refreshing drink (Alcoholic or not) and CHILL.
  6. Scrub-a-dub-dub!
    Get off alllllll that dead skin from your body and clean out them pores! I promise that afterwards, your skin will feel like silk, and we all know there’s not a better feeling than climbing into fresh sheets with a silky smooth body.
  7. Read My Lips!
    I always have a stack of unread books because I can ‘never find the time’ since all my time is dedicated to Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Baths are the perfect time to start getting through that collection of yours! Also, it will help pass the time whilst you wait for your facial mask to dry, and your hair mask to soak in!
  8. RELAX!
    Stop making your baths feel like a chore. Make the most out of them and enjoy them!

  2. Hey there! Blogging is definitely a huge amount of work. I never realised how many hours i would be putting into mine! The biggest tips I can give you is:
    1) schedule posts! It will save you so much time!
    2) Only blog when you’re in the mood too! It’s difficult when you’re wanting to post content, but not in the mood to write!
    3) Take lots of photos. Humans are very visual people!
