HAUL: E.L.F. Cosmetics

I may or may not have taken advantage of their AMAZING deals they had on recently!

I used to LOVE E.L.F, but haven’t tried their products out for so long, so this was the perfect opportunity to ignite our relationship!

I haven’t tried this products out on my mug yet, but I was too excited to wait!

Also, before we get into the post, I would like to apologise for my chipped and outgrown nail polish. I would apologise for how hairy my arms are, but I don’t really care. Everyone has body hair for Gods sake!

Essential Lengthening & Defining Mascara – £0.64

I’m not too sure on how this is going to be if I’m honest. The packaging for a start does feel really cheap, and the mascara itself looked slightly gloopy.

Studio Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow – Crusin Chic – £1.44

First things first, this colour is stunning!! Secondly, this shit does not come off!! I scrubbed so hard with body scrubs, coconut oil, and even washing up liquid! It won’t budge! Good for a night out. Bad if you don’t want this colour on your lids for the rest of your life.

Essential Shimmer with Brush – Gold – £1.20

Super disappointed in this one. It was so difficult to get a photo of the swatch since it hardly showed up! Going to keep at it though, and hope for the best!

Studio Sparkling Eyes 5 Piece Eyeliner Set – £0.80

Hang on. 80p for 5 eyeliners?! Yes yes yes. I had ZERO hope for these, but they are incredible! They glide on so effortlessly! Also big love for the fact that each one has a built in sharpener on the lid!

Essential Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil – Twinkle Teal – £0.80

I’d be angry if I spent a lot of money on this, since it’s the EXACT same shade that’s in the kit shown above! Good job this was my favourite out of the five!

Essential Lipstick – Posh – £0.80, Studio Moisturizing Lipstick – Pink Minx – £4.50, Studio Moisturizing Lipstick – Velvet Rope – £1.44

Surprisingly, I actually think the 80p essential lipstick was the best quality! It was so smooth, and had such high pigment! The other two are still amazing, but definitely prefer the cheaper one!

Studio Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow – Party – £1.80

Again, like the Smudge Pot Cream, this isn’t the easiest thing to remove! I do prefer the smudge pot to this one due to the colour and quality of the actual product! Again, the cheaper one wins!!

Studio Baked Eyeshadow Trio – Peach Please – £1.60

I LOVE this! Definitely going to be coming with me in my makeup bag if I ever travel! Works out ever so slightly over 50p per shade! The lightest colour is so beautiful, and can’t wait to play around with this!

Studio Lip Exfoliator – Sweet Cherry – £4.50

Now I cheated with this picture since I took it from my review I did of this product. I actually ordered this first, and then got sent the exact same one, so I’m keeping the new one for my future giveaway!

Studio Blush – Pink Passion – £1.20

I am slightly disappointed that this isn’t as pigmented at I first hoped for, but on the other hand, I am slightly glad it isn’t as pigmented since I know it would look ridiculous on me!

Studio Moisturizing Foundation Stick – Natural – £2.40

Unfortunately, I don’t think this is my shade, but I have yet to try it on my face. I am going to keep this for when I fake tan though!

Studio HD Blush – Headliner – £1.80

What. Is. This?! I brought a similar blush product from Tam Beauty, and ended up hating it since it did the exact same thing! Hate this!!

Studio HD Blush – Superstar – £1.80

This is the worst. What the fuck is happening?! Am I being an idiot and applying this wrong?! I tried to apply the smallest amount, but still turned my hands into a mess! I’m currently writing this up 12 hours later with bright pink hands…

Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder – St. Lucia – £5.00

I took swatch photos of this, but I’m not too sure where they’ve disappeared too! This has been declared as a NARS dupe, which you can tell straight away from the packaging! I do really like this though, and love that the blush is very natural looking!

Studio Bronzers – Cool Bronzer – £5.00

Again, the swatch photo eater was apparently hungry. This didn’t have the pigmentation I was hoping for, but going to give it a few tries before I make my mind up fully!

Studio Daily Brush Cleaner – £4.50

This is my first ever spray brush cleaner. I tried it out on a few eyeshadow brushes, and even though it did remove a lot of makeup, I was kind of expecting them to come out spotless! I think my expectations were a little too high! I’m still going to be using this after I use my brushes, so that at least they will be slightly cleaner, and won’t take me as long to do a full deep brush clean!

Studio Lash Collections – £1.80

I am bleeping awful at putting on eyelashes. Like honestly awful. Last time I tried to apply eyelashes (they were them single Russian eyelash extensions), I ended up gluing my eye shut, and somehow sneezing one out… Only I could mange to do that! If anyone knows any good fake eyelash tips, let me know!

June Mystery Bag:

Since I spent over a certain amount (I believe it was £25 and over), I got sent a mystery bag! Free gifts are always nice!

Studio Lash Tint Mascara – £5.00

When I first opened it up, I was completely shocked by the brush! I even looked it up to see if mine was faulty! It definitely will be good for getting my bottom eyelashes though!

Studio Lip Balm SPF 15 – Pink – £4.50

Look at that colour! Not entirely sure what it will look like on, but so far, I’m a big fan! Also, SPF 15? Yes please.

Studio Baked Eyeshadow Trio – Brown Bonanza – £4.50/£5

Really really really disappointed with this one! The other trio I brought was amazing! I don’t understand how this one is so shoddy! The gold toned shade is the most pigmented out of the bunch, but I’m not impressed.

I did also buy a lipgloss for £0.64 in the colour Brian for Lozza. She’s super impressed with it! It is a stunning shade, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a photo of it, since I couldn’t manage to find it in her bedroom! Where does your things go, mum?!

And that’s everything! The sale has unfortunately ended now, but I definitely have mixed feelings about the brand now. If I paid the full price for these, I would have been quite mad, since there was a lot of things I was disappointed by, but since everything was ridiculous cheap, I can’t really moan!

What’s your favourite ELF product?

Omg, this is amazing. SO many goodies 😱
My fav product from elf would have to be their under eye setting powder!

    • 5th July 2017 / 1:09 am

I couldn’t help myself! Wanted a little present for myself, and the sale was a perfect opportunity! I’ve not see that setting powder! I’ll have to check it out! xx

Wow, massive ELF haul. So in love with this brand. They have lots of great makeup products at such an affordable price.

The lipstick seems so lovely! I might try that soon. Thanks for sharing! 💕

    • 5th July 2017 / 3:18 am

Definitely give it a go! Thank you so much for reading! ❤️

  3. 5th July 2017 / 3:35 am

Yes! I love ELF products! Amazing haul 🙂 I should definitely pick some things up! I’d love to know how the foundation stick works 🤔 I really love their under eye setting powder and makeup setting spray, the highlighter isn’t too bad either for the price you pay 😊

    • 5th July 2017 / 3:39 am

Thank you! When I swatched it, it was so creamy and very high coverage! I then tried to wash it off, and it wasn’t budging for ages! Im really hoping it’ll match my face, but I don’t think it will at the minute! 😫 Someone else mentioned the eye setting powder! I need to check that one out!! xx

  4. 5th July 2017 / 3:57 am

I have the Studio Baked Eyeshadow Trio – Brown Bonanza. I was disappointed about the pigment too until I read a tip by others with the same problem. Scrape off the top layer and it is a lot more pigmented. Yes–it is messy! I used a nail file for the scraping part. This is an issue with some of their “baked” products. I hope this helps!

    • 5th July 2017 / 11:03 am

Ahhh thank you so much!! Definitely going to try this out! xx

  5. 5th July 2017 / 4:01 am

I had the liquid blush before too. I got it because they were supposed to be dupes for the Make Up For Ever versions. But yes, I agree, I had a difficult time using it. So much pigment though.

    • 5th July 2017 / 11:03 am

I think I’m going to have to watch some tutorials on it before I wear it! I’m glad there is a lot of pigment though, but it is so tricky! x

  6. 5th July 2017 / 4:40 am

HUGE haul!!! I love their brushes actually! Check out my latest posts?

I couldn’t help myself haha! I’ve not tried their brushes out before actually, but ill give them a go! Thank you! x

  7. 5th July 2017 / 7:21 am

    1) can’t believe how cheap some of that stuff is… bloody hell. I really like the gold eyeshadow (obvs) 2) the state of your hands 😂😂😂😂😂what the christ is that blusher about? Xxxxxx

    • 5th July 2017 / 11:05 am

mate I’m still stained pink 😂 I also managed to get every swatch pretty much on my leg?! I’m such a mess 😂😂😫 xxxxx

  8. 5th July 2017 / 12:33 pm

I agree that elf products are hit and miss. But since they are so inexpensive, you can buy a lot of things to try out!

    • 5th July 2017 / 2:30 pm

That is definitely the benefit to them! I honestly can’t complain since a lot of the products were around £1!! x

  9. 5th July 2017 / 5:57 pm

I grabbed a few items from the sale as well! I’m hoping they arrive today!

      • 6th July 2017 / 1:38 pm

I picked up a highlighting stick, mascara, shimmering facial whip, brow pencil, bronzer, and an eye shadow trio. My package has still nto been delivered! Its killing me. haha.

  10. 5th July 2017 / 6:47 pm

Those blushes are terrifying… who needs a dot of blush that would turn their whole face bright pink lol. Mascara is where I don’t skimp at all, I love quality mascaras and just can’t do the clumpy cheap stuff.

    • 5th July 2017 / 6:53 pm

Exactly! I wasn’t going to attach the photo of the little blob of it, and then thought people might think I’d used the whole bottle 😂 Need to try and work out how to use them! I hate bad mascaras too! Im going to give it a go and see, but I think they’re heading for the bin!! x

  11. 6th July 2017 / 1:15 am

That eyeshadow trio looks so gorgeous! I love Elf products and seeing what you got was so fun! 🙂

  12. 7th July 2017 / 4:21 am

That smudge pot is gorgeous, and I love to hear that it doesn’t budge! I’m interested in trying the daily brush cleaner, I’ve never seen that before!

  13. 24th August 2017 / 4:39 pm

ELF is where its at. I love their products and they are so affordable!!

  14. 27th August 2017 / 9:25 pm

Nice!! Elf is one of my favorite drugstore brands, so budget friendly and great quality!

    • 28th August 2017 / 11:03 pm

Aren’t they just?! I had only ever tried a few product of theirs prior to this haul, but now I’m hooked!
