July 2017 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box

Boy, am I happy I came across this subscription box. From the moment I ordered this, I couldn’t wait for it to arrive, and when they I finally saw that it was ‘out for delivery’, I was literally staring out my window, waiting for the postman to knock on the door.

‘[Each box contains] 4-5 full-sized products, Beauty Box is unique every month and contains high end essential Beauty supplies to last you through the month. Every month is a surprise but you can expect high end products ranging from mascaras to skin care products all of which are what you would expect to find on the high street.

Every item inside is carefully selected by our beauty experts who ensure that you receive the best products that include loved classics and new launches.’

There are two different subscription boxes to choose from:

The Original Beauty Box:

This box will cost you £25 a month, and the products arrive packaged in an ‘elegant black box with a finished matte effect’. Look Incredible have previously sent out brands such as St. Tropez, Costal Scents, Lord & Berry, Fusion Beauty, Fresh, and so many more with this box.

The Deluxe Beauty Box

This is the option I went for. This box is priced at £35 a month, and is delivered in a ‘elegant white box with a finished matte effect’. This box has been known to contain brands such as Chanel, Tarte, Becca, Laura Geller, Marc Jacobs, Smashbox, Burbury, Nars and so many more.

I personally chose this option since I would rather pay the extra £10 a month and receive top end designer brands.

The Look Incredible website says:

‘[We are different] because our promise is full-sized products. That’s right, no travel-size products.

Our aim is to create a box that will last you a whole month and allow you to enjoy all the items that we have to offer. At Look Incredible we strongly believe in value for money and ensure that you always get more for your money’s worth in every box. Better yet, every month we try to improve the box and offer new and exciting products based on your suggestions and feedback. So if you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

I have a feeling that my mum might be trying to steal this off me. She uses the UTan self tanner, and she is in love with it. On the other hand, I’m actually really glad this was included since my body is currently 3 shades darker than my face, and the days where I don’t wear makeup is currently making me look even more unwell. No thank you. Also, prepare yourselves, but yes, I’ll be writing a review on this. Who would have guessed it?!

bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Prep Gel 30ml – £22.00

‘This lightweight gel glides on effortlessly and immediately dries down to an invisible matte finish, prepping skin for a beautifully smooth makeup application. Formulated with Aspen Bark, Tea Tree Oil and a Peptide Complex to help promote clearer, healthier-looking skin, this weightless formula also features an oil-absorbing mineral to help keep skin looking fresh and flawless.’

This is something I actually have never of heard of before, or even seen advertised. Funnily enough, my mum is also eyeing this one up. She actually nearly brought this for herself but ended up not getting it, so I think this will end up being another shared product between us. You know what I’m going to say about this already, so just keep your eyes peeled for that.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush – Funfetti – £30

‘This long-wear formula is enriched with buttery soft pigments that bond with skin and take on a weightless, suspended look, that lasts for up to 16 hours so you don’t have to worry about reapplication throughout the day.’

I honestly nearly wee’d a little when I saw this. I’ve been looking at buying one of these for ages and ages since I heard how good they were. The blush of course is completely and utterly stunning, and also the packaging gives me full on Polly Pocket vibes. Win win for me.

Dior Diorific Mat 504 Magique – £29.50

‘Velvet Colour Lipstick, Weightless and Long-Wearing. In a limited edition, Diorific reinvents the purest expression of the powdery matte finish for the first time, in a fine film that glides on with incredible comfort. An easy-wearing matte whose secret lies in its unique use of an exceptional soft and velvety micronised silicon powder. The “powdery” silicon smoothes colour with no streaking while striking a subtle balance between hold and comfort. Unlike traditional matte makeup, this formula continuously moisturises lips without drying them.

Okay, so if I didn’t wee myself at the Too Faced blush, I definitely had to change my underwear when I saw this. Not only is the packaging STUNNING (my mum thought it looked like something naughty at first…), the colour is also right up my street. Also, it’s fucking Dior. What more could a girl ask for?! I was actually super gutted that I missed last months box since it had a Chanel lipstick in, but damn god did this make up for it.

TOTAL WORTH: £99.49

Obviously, I am completely over the moon with this box, and especially with the Too Faced blush and Dior lipstick. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough even though this is my first box, and I already can’t wait for next months box to arrive.

    1. I have birchbox too, and even though I actually was quite happy with July’s box, I havent been at all really impressed with the others! I can honestly say that out of the 3 or 4 boxes I’ve had from them, I’ve only tried about 3 products, and then the rest I keep for either presents or giveaways! Their stuff just isn’t for me unfortunately as they could make it into something really good! I brought my mum a 6 month subscription to glossybox for her Christmas present, and even though she enjoyed it, she said how she still wasn’t overly impressed by a lot of the things! On the other hand, I did still find glossybox to be better than birchbox! Obviously they can’t get products that everyones going to like, and that is the risk of signing up to subscription boxes, but I’m so blown away by Look Incredibles box! I looked at their past boxes also, and I think I only found one that I wasn’t overly keen on, but would still use the products! Definitely worth cancelling birchbox and getting this instead! Its more money, and less products, but they’re always full sized, and they send well known, high end companys! x

  1. Wow, this one looks amazing – I’ve always been tempted to sign up for a subscription box but so far haven’t because a lot of the time they seem to have more skincare rather than cosmetics, which is what I’m really interested in. This one looks to have a very nice selection, might take a look! x

    1. Definitely do! Whenever I get a new subscription box, I always look at their past boxes first, to see if I think I’d like it! I’m definitely into more cosmetics than skincare since my skin is so prone to breaking out! x
