Hello my darlings! Today I have collaborated with the wonderful Siena! She came up with the marvellous idea of talking about our favourite makeup brand! Siena is a lifestyle blogger, and you can expect to find posts such as beauty reviews, fashion inspiration, and motivational articles! Make sure you head over to Siena’s blog to check out what her favourite brand is!
Obviously from the title, you’ve all guess on what brand I’m going to be talking about. It sounds stupid, but I don’t actually think I’ve ever thought about what my favourite brand is before. I tend to buy products from all different brands if I’ve heard good things about them, or just genuinely want to try them out. I’m not someone who will instantly stop buying from a brand if I’ve disliked one of their products. If that were the case, I think I’d find a hard time shopping for makeup at all.
After Siena mentioned her idea about doing this collab, my mind instantly thought of Maybelline. I then thought of other brands I really like, and my mind still went back to Maybelline. Out of all their products I have tried, I’ve only really not gotten on with one of their products, and that was their Great Lash Mascara. I didn’t hate it, and I did use it up, but it wasn’t my favourite thing in the world.
After trying out their eyeshadows, foundations, mascaras, nail polishes, eyeliner and concealers, there’s really nothing bad I can say about them. You go Maybelline. You go girl.
Funnily enough, I brought all if these products for recent collabs. Every single one of them have been amazing, and I’m just angry that I hadn’t tried these out sooner.
I used this in the past, but have only recently started to use this again, and boy am I glad I did. I tend to use this under my eyes, down my nose, on my forehead, and on my chin to highlight these areas, rather than use this to cover up blemishes, but this definitely gets the job done.
I have had heard SO many good things about this, so obviously I had to try this out. This makes my eyelashes look so full and keeps the curl all day. Big thumbs up for you Lash Sensational.
I had pretty much seen this in every single YouTubers video. Before I brought this, I actually stopped wearing foundation since I thought it was making my skin worse, but since I tried this out, I have been wearing it everytime I put makeup on. Cannot fault this in shape or form.
This was something I had never heard of before, but after the first time of using this, I instantly fell in love. The colour is pitch black, it’s super easy to use and apply, and it also does not budge. Just wish they had more colours!
I always like to look at other peoples wish lists, and I love writing my own since I’m super forgetful. I could really want a product, but when I go into town, I literally have no idea of what the product was. Luckily, I’ve learnt to write things down on the notes in my phone so that I actually remember them.
Basic Starter Kit
I thought it would be a nice idea to put together a starter kit for those who are interested in trying some of the Maybelline products, but aren’t sure on what to try out first. In all honesty, I wish every brand made a starter kit, since I’m always wanting to try brands out, but never know what to pick first.
Of course this would be in here. If you only ever by one drugstore foundation, make it this one. They also do different foundations which leave a different finish which I LOVE.
I haven’t tried this one out yet, but since it’s apart of the Fit Me range, I can’t see why I wouldn’t like this.
Again, this isn’t one I have personally tried out yet, but since my mum and brothers boyfriend use this, and both rave about it, it definitely deserves a spot on here.
Again, this obviously is going to be in here. It’s the perfect mascara, and it’s definitely up there with my all time favourites.
If you wear eyeliner, you definitely need Master Precise in your collection. Never have I used an eyeliner that goes on so smoothly, and the packaging makes it super easy to hold, and less likely to have them wobbly eyeliner disasters.
Who doesn’t have one of these in their collection? I’ll be honest, and the first time I used these, I wasn’t their biggest fan, but after sticking with them, I love them! Also, the packaging is super cute, and the actual balm comes with a heart on the top. 10/10 Maybelline.
There we have it! I hope you found some new products to try out, and let me know if you’ve tried any of them out! I would love to hear your thoughts!
