A massive thank you to the beautiful Sara for this nomination! I honestly am so grateful! Definitely make sure that you all go check out Sara’s blog, and tell her I said hello!
If Nominated What to do:
1. Answer the 11 questions I answered
2. Mention the person who nominated you!
3. Nominate 11 other other bloggers
4. If you don’t want to participate, you don’t have to!
1. How do you find ideas for posts?
The majority of them are likely things you’ve seen before (What’s in my bag, daily makeup routine, monthly favourites ect.) and some just randomly pop into my head! I’m actually really angry at myself since I thought of a really good post last night, but now I can’t remember what it is!
2. What is my favorite quote and by whom?
Either ‘If you can’t be good, be careful’ which was the last thing my Nanny Jan said to me, and then ‘I solemnly swear that I am up to no good’ which is a tattoo I have for my Nanny Jan. It sounds stupid considering the last thing she said to me, but we had a funny sense of humour together.
3. What are the characteristics of a good blog post, in your opinion?
Honesty and originality.
4. What you have learned from blogging?
That not everyone is going to like what you do and that it’s bloody hard work, but hard work pays off.
5. When not blogging, what you do for fun?
I honestly hate this question because I’m so boring. I like to sit in warm pubs, go explore the woods and watch Netflix’s. Interesting person, I know.
6. Two random facts about me.
First would be that I once accidentally kicked a doctor in the balls because I’m terrified of blood tests and they were just about to it. I didn’t intend to do it, but apparently I have good reflexes.
Secondly would be that I’m awful at geography. If you name a place, I’m likely going to have to google where it is first. I remember when I was in year 7, I had a geography test coming up about the capitals of various places, and I actually recorded myself saying them, and listened to it overnight since apparently if you listen to something overnight, you’re meant to be able to remember it in the morning. I failed.
7. What’s your ideal holiday? Where would you love to travel?
Bora Bora everytime. I’m actually not too fussy with my holidays. I love party ones, relaxing ones, hot ones, cold ones… I just love being on holiday.
8. Have you got any phobias? If so what?
Ahh if only I read this before answering number 6! Apart from blood tests (No joke, I’m 20 years old and cry at every single one. A doctor once told me I was his worst ever needle phobic patient in his whole 25+ year career…), I have big phobias of lifts, toenails being scraped along the floor (my toes literally curled around whilst typing that), mouldy food and crumbs in the butter and marmite. The last one relates to the mouldy food one since I’m convinced that mould will grow super quick on the crumbs since bread goes off so fast. Ugh.
9. What an interesting fact about you that not many people know?
I have an extra toe on both feet. I’m joking, but I can almost see your disgusted faces through the screen. I guess an interesting fact about me is that I’ve met quite a few celebrities I guess? Like I said before, I’m a really boring person.
10. What’s the craziest and most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I AM A BORING PERSON.
I guess either flashing myself to my friend in the next car on the motorway, and quite a few people saw, skinny dipping or shaving half my head?! I’m an over thinker, so Brooke and spontaneous things don’t really go together…
11. Would you say you’re an optimist, pessimist or realist?
I said this in a previous post, but I honestly can never remember the meanings of these, so I’ve just done a quiz and apparently:
You’ve always been the smartest person in your group of friends. Nothing ever surprises you, mostly because you’re three steps ahead of life, and that’s where you intend to stay! No matter what happens, you’ve got a plan, and you’ve even got multiple contingency plans in case that first plan fails. You have reasonable expectations, you set achievable objectives, and your determination to see a thing through to its conclusion leads to great success. Your friends and family have all listed you as their emergency contact’there’s no cooler head than yours, after all!
So there you have it! Again, thank you to the wonderful Sara, and I can’t wait to see all of the nominees answers!
