Firstly, can we just talk about the pattern on the box?! I want this framed!!
They did include a 15% discount code, but this is one broke bitch who still can’t afford one of the Oliver Bonas prints with 15% off…
BEAUTY PROTECTOR PROTECT & DETANGLE
WHAT: Why use several hair products when one will do? This sweet-scented leave-in spritz conditions, detangles, minimises frizz, protects colour, and adds shine to all hair types. Phew! Plus, it’s free from parabens and sulphates
HOW: Mist onto clean, damp hair from a few inches away. Comb through and style as normal.
I can only really remember using a leave in conditioner when I was younger, and haven’t really put much thought in to ever trying one out again… Will be interesting to see if it makes my hair soft, but without being greasy!
POLAAR ICYMAGIC INSTANT EYE CONTOUR ENERGISER
WHAT: Late night? Don’t let tired eyes give the game away! This soothing roll-on treat contains a cooling gel formula that’s packed with brightening ginseng to tone and rejuvenate your under-eye area in a flash.
HOW: Roll beneath your eyes, from the inner to the outer corner, morning and night.
I’m already using a Kiehl’s eye cream (when I remember…), so I doubt I’ll be reaching for this anytime soon.
ARROW BOOST COLOUR ENHANCING LIP BALM
WHAT: This high-tech balm is a customer favourite for good reason – it adjusts to your unique pH to create the perfect, just-for-you hue. Plus, it contains mango seed butter to hydrate and protect lips while you’re on the go.
HOW: Throw in to your handbag, work bag, or gym bag, and swipe it on throughout the day.
Despite how much of a horrible taste this has to it, this balm is still pretty nifty. I love the colour it gives off, it’s hydrating and long lasting, but the taste is really off putting!
MANNA KADAR FANTASY 3-IN-1 BLUSH, HIGHLIGHTER, EYESHADOW
WHAT: When you’re seeking an instant glow, this pearlised powder really delivers. The champange-pink shade provides the perfect pop of colour to the eyes and cheeks, and velvety radiance to the rest of your complexion.
HOW: Dust onto your eyelids, cheeks, brow bone, and cupid’s bow for an instant healthy glow.
This was our ‘sneak peek’ product in last months box. When I first saw it, I wasn’t impressed. When it arrived, I wasn’t impressed. When I swatched it, boy was I impressed! It’s such a stunning shade and I can’t wait to play around with this!
The only thing that puts me off is that BB stated that this product is fragile (they said that if yours arrives broken to contact their support team), so I’m not too sure how long this is going to last in my clumsy hands…
DR. PAWPAW ORIGINAL CLEAR BALM
WHAT: It’s time to meet a true multi-tasker! The star ingredient of this UK-made balm is fermented pawpaw – a fruit with naturally healing ingredients that lends this balm a multitude of hydrating uses.
HOW: Use it as a lip balm or a moisuriser, to smooth split ends or sooth sunburn – wherever you need a moisture boost!
My mum actually has this, and I’ve seen it raved about on so many different blogs, so I’m excited to give this a go!
OLIVER BONAS STICKERS
These were a little freebie that was added into this months box! I love stickers, but it takes me way too long to decided where to put them! Ooops!
Overall, despite being excited for the Manna Kadar product, the Dr. Paw Paw balm and the lip balm, I don’t feel that impressed by this months box.
I feel like a lot of the Birchboxes are really up and down with their quality, which is such a shame!
