September 2017 Monthly Favourites

I can’t believe I never got around to doing my August favourites post?!

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation + Concealer

I only purchased this recently but DAMN. This foundation is the SHIT! I love how it looks on my skin, and lasts longer than most foundations I’ve ever tried! Only problem I’ve found with it is that it is too dark for my skin tone, but I usually mix this in with my MUA Pro Custom Colour Foundation Mixer to make it lighter. Definitely want to get my hands on their lighter shades!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser

How have I only just started using this?! I (stupidly) only found out recently that if you have oily skin (which I do), you should use a gel moisturiser over a cream one. This has improved my skin so much! I do find that I have to use more of this than I did with my old moisturiser, but it’s caused me to have less breakouts! Definitely will be buying this again, and you 100% need this if you have oily skin.

NYX Makeup Setting Spray – Matte Finish

Like I said above, I have super oily skin. Even though my makeup would run off of my face throughout the day, I never really found a setting spray that I thought really did anything? This has changed my opinions on setting sprays all together! It’s super lightweight, dries super quickly and it’s really affordable, whilst making my makeup last so much longer! They also do a dewy finish if you’re after that in a setting spray, so NYX gets a big thumbs up from me!

RCMA No-Colour Translucent Powder

Even though I’ve been using this for a while, I still haven’t really made a dent in it! It makes my skin look super airbrushed and makes my makeup stay on a hell of a lot longer than most powders I’ve found.

Shiseido Nourshing Mascara Base

I received this in a subscription box, and at first, I wasn’t too impressed with it. That was until I actually tried it out. This makes my mascara look amazing! No clumps, no flaking and holds the curl! It’s a little bit more on the expensive side (for me anyway), but definitely worth every penny.

What’s your September favourites?
