October 2017 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box

It’s halfway through the month which is my favourite time since it means my Look Incredible Deluxe box is due to arrive!

Since last months box was quite disappointing, I was really on edge about this month. I was praying that this months would be better, and someone up there was definitely listening to me!

‘[Each box contains] 4-5 full-sized products, Beauty Box is unique every month and contains high-end essential Beauty supplies to last you through the month. Every month is a surprise but you can expect high end products ranging from mascaras to skin care products all of which are what you would expect to find on the high street.

Every item inside is carefully selected by our beauty experts who ensure that you receive the best products that include loved classics and new launches.’

There are two different subscription boxes to choose from:

The Original Beauty Box:

This box will cost you £25 a month, and the products arrive packaged in an ‘elegant black box with a finished matte effect’. Look Incredible have previously sent out brands such as St. Tropez, Costal Scents, Lord & Berry, Fusion Beauty, Fresh, and so many more with this box.

The Deluxe Beauty Box

This is the option I went for. This box is priced at £35 a month, and is delivered in a ‘elegant white box with a finished matte effect’. This box has been known to contain brands such as Chanel, Tarte, Becca, Laura Geller, Marc Jacobs, Smashbox, Burbury, Nars and so many more.

I personally chose this option since I would rather pay the extra £10 a month and receive top end designer brands.

The Look Incredible website says:

‘[We are different] because our promise is full-sized products. That’s right, no travel-size products.

Our aim is to create a box that will last you a whole month and allow you to enjoy all the items that we have to offer. At Look Incredible we strongly believe in value for money and ensure that you always get more for your money’s worth in every box. Better yet, every month we try to improve the box and offer new and exciting products based on your suggestions and feedback. So if you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Bronze Makeup Primer – RRP £25

‘What is it?: Spackle Tinted Primer is designed to revive and retexturize your skin, helping you achieve a flawlessly smooth finish. It keeps makeup fresh for hours, while imparting a shimmering, sheer bronze tint.
Who is it for?: The lush, lightweight formula is suitable for all skin types.
Why is it different?: Developed with nourishing, soothing botanicals, this oil-free formula is a unique makeup primer. The silky, skin-perfecting base layer acts as a smoothing interface between your skin and your makeup.’

I bloody love Laura Geller. It was actually my Mum who first introduced me to her products, and I’m so glad she did.

I think I’ve actually tried this out before, but since my memory is so shitty, I can’t remember if I liked it or not! Fingers crossed this is a good’un!

Skin Doctor T-Zone Control No More Pores – RRP £23

‘Let your refining cream do the work with Skin Doctors T-Zone Control No More Pores (30ml). The overnight product helps reduce the size of pores to create a smoother look to your skin. The treatment contains Salicylic Acid which helps to both clear pores and remove excess oil. The Gylcolic and Lactic Acids help gently exfoliate and clarify to reduce pore size. These three active ingredients join together to create the perfect tool to minimise pores.’

So happy to see this!

I’m usually disappointed when I see a skin care product in my subscription boxes, but this time, I was over the moon! It sounds like just what my skin needs, and I cannot wait to give it a go.

Unfortunately, I’m already trying something new on my skin at the moment (if you follow my Instagram – @Liverc0ke, you would have already seen it! Post coming soon though!), so I won’t be using this for a while.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer – RRP £17

‘Too Faced iconic, bestselling Shadow Insurance Eye Primer just got a makeover! Too Faced have revamped the packaging of this world-famous cult classic, but Too Faced have kept the best-selling formula that locks down eye shadows and intensifies colour to ensure crease-proof, fade-proof, waterproof wear from up to 24 hours.

Pretty sure I did a little wee when I saw this.

I’ve had my eyes on this forever, so I’m so excited that I can finally try it out! Fingers crossed it lives up to the hype!

Helena Rubinstein Collagenist Re-Plump Lip Zoom – RRP £35

‘Helena Rubinstein Collagenist Re-Plumping Lip Zoom restores the lips natural “shape-memory”. Using a potent treatment, it stimulates the five key structuring collagens responsible for the cohesions and firmness of the lips. The result is lips that are rounder, plumper and fuller than before with a noticeably renewed youth.’

I actually popped this baby on straight away.

My lips have been super dry, cracked, and sore for a while now, but as soon as I put this on, it all disappeared! I’m so amazed!

I’m super happy with this months box, and I’m already excited to see what’s in next months!

The total amount of how much the box is worth came to a whopping £100, meaning I received £65 of free products! Fine by me!

    1. It’s one of the risks of signing up unfortunately! I think the best thing do to is have a look at different boxes, and look at their previous boxes so that you can get a feel for what products you’re going to get sent! This has been my favourite box so far, and I’ve only had one dissapointing month, but i still used all the products!

  1. I’m so disappointed with this month’s. And how the last few months have had four products instead of five. I got a different primer to you, mine was a bronze one but they put the fortified one back in February’s box. If some people get the same as they had before, I don’t think it will go over well. I dunno, the standard seems so be slipping now they’ve launched the bi monthly £65 box!

    1. I noticed how they only seem to put in 4 products recently too! I was quite bummed out over the fact they didn’t include any makeup products! I think I’d be pretty pissed off if I had gotten the Febuary box, and then this one too… But I totally agree with you about the new box. It seems that’s taking all theyre attention, and I have a feeling the next few months aren’t going to be great. I’m still happy with the products, but they aren’t putting as much effort into them anymore it seems!

  2. How are you finding the too faced eye primer??? I never really use a primer on my eyes but my eyeshadow does always seem to shift a little through out the day, do you think its worth going straight for this product?? xo
