December 2017 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box

I couldn’t help but take these photos by the Christmas tree, even though Christmas has unfortunately been and gone now. Why is Christmas only for one day?!

‘[Each box contains] 4-5 full-sized products, Beauty Box is unique every month and contains high end essential Beauty supplies to last you through the month. Every month is a surprise but you can expect high end products ranging from mascaras to skin care products all of which are what you would expect to find on the high street.

Every item inside is carefully selected by our beauty experts who ensure that you receive the best products that include loved classics and new launches.’

There are two different subscription boxes to choose from:

The Original Beauty Box:

This box will cost you £25 a month, and the products arrive packaged in an ‘elegant black box with a finished matte effect’. Look Incredible have previously sent out brands such as St. Tropez, Costal Scents, Lord & Berry, Fusion Beauty, Fresh, and so many more with this box.

The Deluxe Beauty Box

This is the option I went for. This box is priced at £35 a month, and is delivered in a ‘elegant white box with a finished matte effect’. This box has been known to contain brands such as Chanel, Tarte, Becca, Laura Geller, Marc Jacobs, Smashbox, Burbury, Nars and so many more.

I personally chose this option since I would rather pay the extra £10 a month and receive top end designer brands.

The Look Incredible website says:

‘[We are different] because our promise is full-sized products. That’s right, no travel-size products.

Our aim is to create a box that will last you a whole month and allow you to enjoy all the items that we have to offer. At Look Incredible we strongly believe in value for money and ensure that you always get more for your money’s worth in every box. Better yet, every month we try to improve the box and offer new and exciting products based on your suggestions and feedback. So if you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Gucci Duo Magnetic Eyeshadow – £38

Expertly crafted, the Magnetic Colour Shadow Duo fuses vibrant hues with lavish textures. A carefully balanced pairing, each eyeshadow duo is saturated with pigment, while powder particles are pretreated and primed for high-colour impact.

I can’t even explain how happy I was to see this. If anyone knows me, they know how much I bloody love Gucci (except the price).

This eyeshadow duo not only is packaged beautifully, but it came in its own little bag. Amazing.

I haven’t actually been able to get myself to swatch this yet. I can’t bring myself to ruin the Gucci print on the shadows!

The Balm Pick Up Liner – £14.99

Finally, a one-liner you can’t say no to! Introducing Pickup Liners, eight new lip pencils from theBalm Cosmetics. These long-lasting, highly pigmented liners know how to get to the point and let the colour do the talking. This formula stays in line, as it is specially formulated to not feather or bleed. At last – a smooth talker that will always make you smile!

This lip liner is proper up my street. The colour is STUNNING, and it honestly applies like butter. I have never felt a smoother pencil than this!

Benefit Air Patrol Eye Primer – £24

Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer with broad-spectrum SPF 20 contains EnviroDefend Complex known to help guard your delicate eyelids against sun, smoke and pollutants. It also extends the wear of eyeshadow for long-lasting colour that won’t crease, fade or smear.* The CushionCalm™ tip is stress-free, pressure free… softer than your pinkie!

How have I never seen this before?! I’ll admit, and say that I am useless at applying an eye primer, but I’m actually excited to give this a go. The ‘CushionCalm’ tip also intrigues me, so. I’m excited to test it out.

Vichy Slow Age Fluid SPF25 50ml – £30

Prolong your skin’s youthful flow with Vichy Slow Âge Daily Care Fluid SPF25, a lightweight moisturising fluid. The Vichy Slow Âge Daily Care Fluid Moisturiser will keep skin looking and feeling its best day-after-day, its revitalising formula offering protection from the elements with anti-UV protection and an added SPF of 25. Enriched with a combination of naturally inspired active ingredients, including antioxidant baicalin and probiotic derived bifidus, the slow Âge Fluid will keep skin plumped, as well as reducing the appearance of pores and pigmentation over time. After use, skin feels hydrated, fresh and glows with health and vitality.

I can’t get over the packaging on this. The glass bottle makes this feel ridiculously luxurious, but unfortunately I won’t be using this.

Florapy Stress Relief Facial Sheet Mask – £8

IMG_2289

The gentle chamomile flower calms the senses and quiets the mind. The potent soothing and hydrating benefits leave the skin feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Peaceful patchouli encourages circulation, eases tension and fights away stress.

Enhanced with Recovery Essence 8 – a proprietary blend of vervain flower, grapeseed oil, olive oil, clary sage oil, carrot oil, almond oil, rosehip and vitamin E.

This is the third or fourth Florapy sheet mask I’ve received, and even though I’ve only used one of them before, I’m a big, big fan. You can even feel how cooling it is whilst it’s in its packaging which is a big ol’ win in my book.
