Feel Unique Pick ‘n’ Mix Haul

Feel Unique is an online shopping site which sells makeup, hair care, skin care and fragrance from over 500 different brands – including Burberry, Benefit, Chanel, Maybelline & Kiehl’s. Whilst having a little ponder on their website, I came across a page called ‘Samples‘, and my inner beauty blogger forced me to click the tab straight away. Once clicked, it took me to a page where it explained the 3 different ways that you are able to receive samples – Pick ‘n’ Mix, Try Me and Basket Bonus.

Try Me is where you can purchase a full sized product and you will receive a sample size of the same product to try out first before you open and use the full sized version. This is so you can try the sample product out first and if you don’t like the product for whatever reason, you can send back the full sized product to Feel Unique and recieve a full refund. You will only recieve a sample sized product of your item if it has a “Try Me” icon on the web page, so be careful!

Basket Bonus is something that you receive after spending £30 or more on Feel Unique. After you have filled your basket up with goodies, you can choose 2 FREE samples of your choice.

Pick ‘n’ Mix is what I’ve been using for a few months now. This is a service where you can choose 5 FREE samples every month and only pay £3.95 shipping and handling fees. The best part? Feel Unique will then send you out an email with a discount code for £3.95 off your next purchase, making this practically 100% free.

In more simple terms:

  • Choose up to 5 samples per month for FREE
  • Pay only £3.95 shipping and handling fee
  • Get a £3.95 gift voucher in your follow-up email which you can redeem on a future purchase (excluding Pick ‘n’ Mix)
  • One Pick ‘n’ Mix sample selection per person, per month

Even though this may be a ‘boring’ sample, I thought this would be brilliant to have so that if I ever go away for the weekend/stay around a friend’s house, I don’t have to pack huge bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I do suffer from psoriasis which affects my scalp quite badly, meaning I have to use Neutrogena’s T-Gel religiously, but I normally can get away with using normal shampoo and conditioner once in a while.

Australian Body Care Tea Tree Oil Cleansing Face Mask

‘The clay formulation of Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Cleansing Face Mask harnesses the natural skincare benefits of four active ingredients to achieve radiant skin:

– Tea Tree Oil: Australian Bodycare’s signature Melaleuca alternifolia, tea tree oil to eliminate impurities and leave skin feeling clean.
– Macadamia Oil: To leave skin soothed and calm.
– Papaya Extract: To gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.
– Mineral Rich Clay: To deep cleanse and purify the skin.

Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Cleansing Face Mask is suitable for all skin types.’

I swear by the Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash, and have used it since I can remember. I’d never tried one of their face masks before, so I couldn’t wait to give this a go. Spoiler alert – it burnt. It burnt like hell. After leaving it on for less than 10 seconds, my face was bright red, hot, and bumpy. Let’s just say this isn’t for me.

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask

‘The Clarins SOS Pure Mask is a clay based face mask formula with organic alpine willow herb that is perfect for oily and combination skin. A purifying mask that leaves skin toned, matte and rebalanced.’

Using this made me lose my Clarins virginity. Whilst I doubt I’ll buy the full sized version of this (£30 for a face mask seems ridiculous to me!), I did really like this mask.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation & Concealer

‘MAKE UP FOR EVER ULTRA HD INVISIBLE COVER CONCEALER – advanced formula and light texture covers perfectly dark circles and hides any signs of tiredness. This concealer unifies the eye contour and leaves a filter like, smooth and luminous result. It guarantees natural, comfortable and flawless makeup. This easy-to-blend concealer is medium coverage and adapted for all skin types.’

‘Get a flawless skin with MAKE UP FOR EVER ULTRA HD INVISIBLE COVER FOUNDATION. With medium coverage and luminous formula, it allows natural and comfortable makeup. This liquid texture blends easily to correct imperfections and unify the skin. This foundation matches all skin types and the full range of 40 different shades covers all skin tones.’

I’ve been dying to try out this foundation, so this is perfect for me! I do think the shades are too dark for me, but I have foundation colour changing drops which have always been there for me.

Benefit Ka-Brow

‘Fill, sculpt & define brows with ka-BROW! This rich, buildable cream-gel colour takes brows from soft & natural-looking to bold & dramatic. The built-in hard angled brush makes it easy to expertly define eyebrows. ‘

Honestly, I brought this not for the actual product, but because I was ridiculously embarrassingly excited to see how they were going to send over a sample size of this. Now it’s arrived, it’s very obvious that this was going to be how they created the sample product, but I’m still hoping that there is a little baby sized version of this somewhere out there.
