Smokey eyes are timelessly sexy but most women struggle creating them and even lose all their hope. Creating Smokey eyes seems complicated but once you know what product and technique you will never regret choosing a Smokey eye look. Here are few tips that will help you create glitter Smokey eyes just in time. So without wasting anytime let’s get started.
The worst thing that is experienced while carrying Smokey eye is eyeshadow travels and smudges around easy. Therefore to keep it from running and budging use a primer on your lids. Cover it with foundation and use compact to set your base this will make blending a lot easier.
If you are a beginner to makeup and do not want to look like a panda use a sticky tape to create guideline for filling in the eyeshadow. Place a small piece of stick tape at angle with the end of your eyebrow leaving a little space with your lower lash line. In this manner the eyeshadow will be applied correctly and there will be fewer mistakes.
The next step is the key to create perfect Smokey eyes according to me, using a liner as a base. I use Gel eyeliner as a base to intensify the color you can also use kohl pencil too. Take a small brush and apply a layer of eyeliner half a way to your lids and blend it outwards. Do not go to high on the inner corner of your eyes. Use a black gel liner as a base but if you are going for colors like purple, green or blue use white eyeliner as a base it will make the eye shadow color pop-out.
Once done with previous steps, now use a brown eyeshade as a transition color this is the hack for perfect Smokey eyes. Use a round fluffy brush and apply it to the crease of your eyelid. This will provide depth and warmth to the crease. Apply the eye shadow in back and forth motion and make it lighter as you go outward. Now take your Smokey eyeshadow (whatever color you have choose) apply it on to your lid not going higher than crease.
Blending is the key. Lift your eye brow from you arch while doing it. Start by blending the harsh lines between the different shades and move upwards when you are doing so. Keep blending till you are not satisfied with the outcome. Tight line your waterlines to make your look more intense. Now take the same eyeshadow powder you used as your basic color and apply it under your lower lash line. Remove the sticky tape.
Finally it time to add glitter to your eye makeup. But before going for it try to apply liner first. Again gel liners works perfect for Smokey eyes Now take your glitter glue and push it onto the two-third your lids, dip your brush in the glitter and apply it over the lids. However, playing with glitter is not easy for beginners therefore here is another tip for you if you want to add glitter to your eye shadow without getting it all over your face. Mix your makeup glitter with makeup glue or just use a glitter liquid liner. It has a lot of glitter in it and the liquor substance stick it to your lids that makes it stay longer in place. Start applying from the inner corner of your eyes till two-third portion of your eyelid in oval shape. Now you are good to go. Now curl your lashes, apply mascara and you are good to go.
