Bath Time Essential Products That Everyone Should Own

Bath Time Essential Products That Everyone Should Own

As I mentioned in my The 7 Rules Of Sleeping & How To Fall Asleep FAST post, I am one hundred percent #TeamBath. Baths can help you clear up a cold and give your stiff joints and muscles a good soak. The only downside to having a bath is that you can’t pretend that you’re Britney Spears in her ‘Stronger’ music video.

‘Happiness is a long, hot bubble bath.’

Candles

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t own a single candle? Adding them around your bath is going to add such a romantic and relaxing vibe to your soak. Personally, I don’t think that someone can have too many candles around the edge of the tub. Just please be careful! If you can’t be trusted with the real deal, you can still get the same effect with realistic LED battery-powered candles.

Exfoliators

I differ between two products when I want to give my body a good ol’ scrubbing. For weekly scrubs, I use the LUSH Ocean Face & Body Scrub. For more ‘everyday’ exfoliation, the Soap & Glory Exfoliating Gloves work perfectly.

Bath Bombs

I need someone to reassure me that there are in fact people who wait until that they’re in the tub before dropping a bath bomb in. On Instagram stories, I’m constantly seeing people putting in their bath bombs in the bath when they’re not even soaking yet. Am I the only one who waits until I’m submerged?

Tip: Before using your bath bomb, store them in your underwear drawer. Trust me on this one. Everything in that drawer will now smell of them and it makes me feel like one confident biatch.

Body Conditioner

The first time I had ever heard of a body conditioner, I was very confused. Why did this even exist? What did it even do? I’ll tell you what it does. It saves you a hell of a lot of time. Instead of having to slap on a body lotion/butter afterwards, you can do it whilst in the tub. Life. Saver.

Hair Mask

Being someone who doesn’t condition their hair every time it’s washed, my hair can get super dried out. I love this hair mask from TRESemmé (read the full review here). It’s a complete steal at only £5.50 a tub (it’s usually on sale as well), but it really helps to condition and smooth out my hair without leaving it greasy.
