I adore coming across new beauty favourites – old and new. Recently, I’ve picked up a few new products, and also found some golden oldies that I’ve fallen in love with. Also, everything spoken about is under a tenner! Winner winner, chicken dinner.
A Few New Beauty Favourites…
Superdrug Vitamin C Invigorating Skin Booster
I spoke about this briefly in my ‘My New Bargain Skincare Best Friends’ post. It helps to give your skin that extra added glow, whilst the Vitamin C helps to speed up the healing of my breakouts. I add a few drops into my moisturiser, and massage in, both morning and night.
Freedom Eyebrow Pomade in Medium Brown
I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow but I accidentally brought a shade too dark, so I picked up this dupe of it. This was my favourite brow product, but stopped using it when I came across the Primark Micro Eyebrow Pencil. I decided to try it out again a few weeks back, and I haven’t been able to put it down. It makes my brows look super natural at the front, but super defined at the tail. Also, it’s dirt cheap, so when it comes to the time to repurchase, I won’t have to take out a mortgage.
Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly
My mum had a sample size of this, but gave it to me straight away before she even tried it. After using it once, I went ahead and brought the full sized bottle, and so did my mum after seeing my hair. It gives off the most beautiful, natural looking curly hair, and leaves your hair feeling as if it has zero product in. Love, love, love.
Superdrug Calm Skin De-Stress Refreshing Facial Spritz
I picked this up when I went into Superdrug to repurchase their Vitamin E Spray. It says it takes four weeks for the spray to fully work, but I love how cooling and refreshing this is. I spritz mine on after I’ve applied my Pixi Glow Tonic.
Superdrug Calm Skin Rescue Gel
I’m always up for trying new spot treatments, and this one was too cheap to resist. It does leave a ‘film’ over where you’ve applied it, so I tend to use mine more at night. It can sking a little when you first apply it, but it’s nothing horrendous. In the morning, I do notice that it’s taken out a lot of the redness around my acne away and helps to heal spots faster than usual.
L’Oreal Paris Life’s a Peach Blush Powder
I brought this after watching Jordan Lipscombe’s face full of first impressions video. I instantly fell in love with the colour of the blush, and the peach scent was what really sold the product to me. I honestly don’t think I’ve worn another blusher since buying this!
Beauty Pie Lipstick in Cowboy Nude
I brought this in my first ever Beauty Pie haul. I loved it when I first brought this, but since I have so many other lipsticks, I seemed to have forgotten about it. Whilst having a makeup declutter, I swatched this and instantly fell back in love with it. It’s the perfect nude colour, and it’s just over £3 (if you’re a Beauty Pie member).
