Boy, did I come across some incredible products last month. I’m warning you now, in my July 2018 favourites, there’s some random products. It’s honestly a bit all over the place. But, I couldn’t not include them all. From beauty, to fashion, to gadgets, there’s a whole bunch of items in this post. Enjoy!
July 2018 Favourites
I’m going to write a whole post about this, what it does and how I use it. Long story short, I don’t know how I went 21 years without trying a Dettol bath.
Sometime last year, I wrote a full review on this mask. I used to mix it with plain tap water, but ever since I started to use Apple Cider Vinegar instead, it’s become an even more amazing mask. I don’t use it half as much as I should, but it really helps to tackle any breakouts I have going on.
Anyone else find themselves not knowing what to do at 9pm anymore? I only started watching this last year, but I’ve become utterly obsessed with the show. Netflix has now also put the first and second series on, so I’m going to try and replace Jack and Dani with some of the old contestants.
I’m pretty sure everyone has seen THAT article that talks about how a girl swears by Rosehip Oil and keeps her acne at bay. My old moisturiser that I was using started to sting my face every time I used it, so instead of using another moisturiser, I decided to give this a go. It has helped to calm down a massive breakout I had, but it definitely hasn’t gotten rid of it completely. I’ve only been using this for about 3 weeks or so now, so I’m hoping in a few more weeks, it’ll get rid of the last lumps and bumps I have.
Again, I wrote a full review on this sometime last year, and I absolutely HATED it. Since my oily skin has calmed down a ton, this doesn’t break up my base like I mentioned in my review. It keeps my base on all day long, and doesn’t make me look too powdery, no matter how much I slap on.
This was a freebie I received in a Tam Beauty mystery bag, and I was right. It has lasted me ‘bloody ages’. I’ve only just hit pan on it now, and I’ve pretty much used it every day. For £3, you really can’t complain either.
I’ve fallen head over heels for reading again. There’s just something about getting lost inside a book that I adore. Amazon used to be my go-to for books (always get second hand books as they’re much cheaper!), but now, I tend to use iBooks as they’re so much cheaper, and I love how little space it takes up compared to physical books.
Bilou kindly sent me over this and a few other of their products to test out. This smelts super sweet and girly, and it forever makes my mouth water when I smell it. The body spray is also a deodorant as well, making it super easy to just throw in my bag and take around with me. Goodbye to the days where I had to carry both a deodorant and a body spray. Life’s hard, hey?
Who spotted the dresses in my photos? They make a rather good flat lay background if I say so myself. Anyway, I’ve literally been living in these dresses. The U.K. is currently in the middle of a heatwave, and these are perfect to just throw on. They’re super light weight and breezy and are ridiculously comfortable. The only two downsides to them is that they do shrink in the wash (even in a cold wash) and you’ll have to accept everyone will ask you ‘are you wearing a nighty?!’.
