The Best In Shower Body Moisturisers

The Best In Shower Body Moisturisers

Being the super lazy person I am, I’m constantly forgetting to moisturise my body. I’m always sure to stick to a strict skincare routine, but for some reason, I just never can remember to moisturise elsewhere. Recently, in shower body moisturisers have become more and more popular and they’ve become a staple in my bath time routine. The convenience of them have completely changed my thoughts on body moisturisers. I’ve tried a whole bunch of different products and brands, but these are my top 3 best in shower body moisturisers.

Sanctuary Spa White Lily & Damask Rose Wet Skin Moisture Miracle

I recently got sent this, and soon as I smelt it, I fell in love. Sanctuary Spa’s products have always been around in my house and you can guarantee that there will be at least one Sanctuary Spa gift set under the tree at Christmas.

The way you use this is slightly different to the other two products mentioned below. Simply finish up in the shower and apply this like you would with any other body moisturiser. Once applied, jump out the shower and dry off. That’s it – No need to rinse it off.

I adore how quickly this soaks into your skin, meaning that you can get dressed pretty much instantly. The smell also lasts such a long time on your skin.

Sanctuary Spa also sell this is two other scents – Their original scent, and Green Lemon & Orange Blossom.

Zoella Shower Shake Moisturising Body Wash

Weirdly enough, I can’t seem to find this online anywhere. It may have possibly been discontinued, but I can’t see why they would when Superdrug are still selling the other products in the ‘Jelly & Gelato’ range.

Last year, I managed to pick up a few of Zoella Beauty products, and Shower Shake was one of the products I couldn’t stop using.

Unlike the Sanctuary Spa moisturiser, you apply this to wet skin, and then rinse off before getting out of the shower. I find that since you rinse it off, the scent unfortunately doesn’t last too long on your skin, but luckily herĀ Gelat Eau Body Mist smells exactly the same.

Despite still loving the good ol’ hair conditioner trick, this works perfectly as a shaving cream. It makes my legs feel ridiculously soft, and doesn’t give me a horrible rash that normal body moisturisers give me after applying to freshly shaved legs.

LUSH Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

With 6 different types of oil’s in, you know full well that this body moisture is going to be bomb.

As someone who suffers with psoriasis, I’m used to having scaly, red and sore knees. As much as I still love the other two products, they both do nothing for my psoriasis. Ro’s Argan on the other hand surprised me so much with it’s healing abilities. Without irritating the skin, this really hydrates my dry, scabby skin and stops the irritating itch.

This works in the same way as Shower Shake – apply, rinse, dry. I find that this one is a bit more greasy and takes a little longer to fully soak it, but I can definitely deal with it.

What’s the best in shower body moisturisers you’ve used?
