I actually cannot believe it’s already September. I swear New Years Eve was only a couple of months back? Anyhoo, my August 2018 Favourites is here! I’ve found a few new products which are going to be staples in my beauty collection, whilst also rekindling my love for some olden, but golden products…
I’ve mentioned my love for shower foams before, but this is possibly the best I’ve ever tried. The can squeezes out an orange gel, and then once you rub the product together, it turns into the most thickest and luxurious foam I’ve ever tried. The biggest win for me is that the scent lasts on your skin even after you’ve gotten out of the shower.
My skin is throwing such a big hissy fit at the moment. I think the fact I’ve having another endometriosis flare at the moment definitely isn’t helping either. I picked this up not thinking that it would be anything great, but i
Okay, the first time I tried this foundation, I was ready to throw it in the bin. I then for some reason decided to try it out again the next day, and started to warm to it more. Now, it’s one of my favourite foundations I’ve ever tried. It’s a little dark for me, so I have to mix it with the Primark Foundation Drops, but the coverage on it is INCREDIBLE. In the evening, I find that I don’t even want to take it off because it makes my skin looks the best it ever has.
Beth Sandland actually introduced me to Cara Hunter’s books. Close To Home is the first book in the DI Adam Fawley series. Based in Oxford, the book tells the story of an 8 year old girl who vanishes from her parents garden party, and with no apparent witnesses, DI Fawley and his team need to work out what happened, and where Daisy is.
It did slightly irritate me that it has no chapters throughout the whole book, but apart from that, I couldn’t shout about the book more. There were so many different twists and turns, and the ending completely shocked me. More books like this please!
Ever since I first got my hands on this, I was absolutely dazzled by it. Super pigmented, really buttery, it’s everything you want in a highlighter. There’s a few other shades that I have my eyes on as well, but I don’t think any of them will beat King Tut.
