April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box

Surprisingly, my April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box has arrived pretty early in the month! Usually, I don’t tend to receive my box until mid-month. I’m definitely not complaining though! This month we received 4 different products from Benefit, Tarte, Too Faced and Urban Decay. I think this month has to be one of my favourite boxes in a while. Despite there only being 4 products this month, the box is worth over £90!

Benefit That Gal Primer

April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box - Benefit that gal primer

Benefit’s silky pink primer takes your complexion from dull to darling! Simply smooth Benefit “That Gal” Brightening Face Primer on for the look of brighter, smoother skin.

I have a sample of this which I don’t think I’ve ever used before. I’m also an oily mess so I tend to stick to more mattifying primers over brightening ones. Let’s hope my oily skin doesn’t demolish this!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Metallic Lipsticks

April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box - too faced melted metal liquified metallic lipstick

Introducing the next innovation in lip colour ‘Melted Metal’ is liquified metallic lipstick in a tube. We have taken the 90’s foiled statement lip and reinvented it with the lustrous look of liquified metal creating a new form of wearable multifaceted colour like you’ve never seen before. ‘Melted Metal’ comfortably coats lips in bursts of rich, glazed, metallic colour that melts on and makes a statement.

This colour looks right up my street. I love bold, in your face colours, so I cannot wait to wear this. The only thing that puts me off is that it isn’t matte, so I’m wondering how long this is actually going to last on my lips. I’m also hoping that this isn’t the texture of a sticky gloss.

Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Vol iii Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette

April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box - tarte rainforest of the sea vol iii highlighting eyeshadow palette

A buttercream eyeshadow (creamy powder that smooths on lids like butter) in 8 lid-lifting, vegan highlighting shades – no primer needed. Eight shadows catch the light for instant eye-illuminating effects. Oxygenated light-reflecting spheres highlight lids for your smoothest, most even application. With a plush texture that borders on bouncy, it’s part cream, part powder – all you need is the warmth of our fingers to apply while the antioxidant-charged Rainforest of the Sea™ complex helps to hydrate and protect lids.

I think my mum was happier to see this than I was. Don’t get me wrong, the packaging and the shades are really stunning, but it’s not really shouting at me. Saying that, I have been wearing more natural tones on my eyes recently, but I do wish this had more matte shades.

Urban Decay All Nighter Eyeliner Waterproof Perversion

April 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box - urban decay all nighter eyeliner waterproof perversion

Draw ultra-shiny, intense lines that are blacker-than-black. Our creamy formula twists up, glides on and dries down to a long-lasting waterproof finish. This soft, creamy formula glides on smoothly. True to it’s name, once All Nighter Eyeliner dries down, it’s not going anywhere! The waterproof formula won’t smudge or budge. Added bonus: All Nighter Eyeliner contains moisturising vitamin E and it’s vegan! All Nighter Eyeliner is great for travel, because it’s easy to apply on the run.
I do wish that Look Incredible would stop sending out pencil eyeliners. Send over liquid liners anyday, but I could quite possibly set up my own pencil eyeliner store at the moment! However, I do really need to start using pencils more, so perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise?
