Okay, okay. I know my August 2018 Empties is a tad late, but I had a few other posts with set deadlines which needed to go up first. Please forgive me? Last month, I tried to push the boat out and little and try a few new products. Empties posts definitely give me the excuse to try out new things. That’s what I tell myself anyway…
PS… Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Gel Mask [Purchased]
Surprisingly, I hadn’t seen this on social media anywhere. Usually, when Primark get a new product in, I see it buzzing around the many beauty Facebook groups I’m in.
I don’t tend to get dry skin, so when I first picked this up, I didn’t think I’d see that much of a difference in my skin. Weirdly enough, a week after I purchased this, my skin got SUPER dry and flakey, so I reached for this straight away.
I popped this on just before I went to bed, and didn’t really notice any difference to my skin 20 minutes later. However, when I woke up in the morning, my skin felt really hydrated and plump, and a lot of the dry patches on my face had improved.

Aspall Raw Organic Apple Cyder Vinegar [Purchased]
Apple Cider Vinegar is talked about so much in the beauty world. There’s people who use it as a toner, and there’s also some brave souls who drink it mixed in with water (I attempted to do this and gave up on day 3). Personally, I like to use mine mixed in with the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Face Mask. I find it works a lot better than water, and really gives my face that super clean feeling. I’m not too keen on the smell of it, but luckily the scent doesn’t last on my skin when used with the mask.

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil [Purchased]
Trilogy is a brand I’ve heard a lot of good things about. I never really dove into the brand too much as their products are a little on the pricy side, but after hearing good things about Rosehip Oil and the improvement of acne, I decided to give it a go.
Would I Repurchase? Unlikely.
Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist [Purchased]
I’ve raved about this mist way too much now, so I won’t go on about this too much. Once I’ve applied my Rosehip Oil, I like to spritz this all over. Refreshing, hydrating, cooling, everything you could want from a facial mist.

Everyone knows how much I adore this cleansing foam, but I have to say, I don’t think it’s doing a lot for my skin.
I recently got sent some skin care products from Dermalogica, and even though I haven’t been using the products for that long, I do think that they’re improving my skin already.
I did buy another of the Biore Foam before I received the Dermalogica products, and I’m definitely going to keep it as a back up just incase.
Would I Repurchase? Already have, but not sure if I would again.
Holler And Glow Puurfect Pedi Sock Mask [Purchased]
These feet peeling masks have been EVERYWHERE and I was dying to give them a go. Luckily, Holler And Glow in Primark were selling them for £4, so I picked two up for my mum and I to try out.
We followed the instructions and waited for the peeling to start happening over the next few days. And we waited. And waited. And waited even more. Whilst I noticed my feet a tiny bit flakey, nothing else happened to either my mum or I.
It’s been around 3/4 weeks now, and I can say that I think they’ve made the skin on my foot harder. The total opposite of what I wanted to happen.
Would I Repurchase? No.
PS… My Perfect Colour Lightening Shade Adjusting Drops [Purchased]
People who manage to find a foundation that suits their skin tone straight away need some sort of a medal. I can NEVER correctly match my foundation, and always end up buying one too dark for me.
When I saw these in Primark, I knew I HAD to pick them up. All you need to do is mix a few drops of these with a foundation that’s too dark for you, and voilà! You’re all set and ready to go.
