We’ve all at some point in our life woken up with a big ol’ red spot. As someone who suffers from a LOT of acne breakouts, I’m constantly looking for the best treatment, I’ve finally found my top 3 products which help to banish the acne.
This is one that is more on the pricey side, but is worth every penny. Even though it is on the pricey side for a spot treatment, it lasts me a good 6+ months.
I first found out about this after seeing Kylie Jenner use it on her snapchat, and never have I been so proud to follower a Kardashian/Jenner.
Also, since it does have a colour to it, I find it’s best to use this on days where I’m not going out, or just before bed.
I do find that this doesnt work as well on already popped spots, but really helps with those that are under the skin.
The main things to remember about this product are:
- Do NOT shake this before using. You need to dip your q-tip into the bottom pink solution.
- Use a new q-tip everytime you need to use more of the lotion! Dipping in a used q-tip can lead to contaminating your whole bottle!
This will sting if you apply it to open skin, but only lasts 10 seconds (thank god!).
I’ve never used an essential oil blend for my acne before, so I was quite excited to give this a go.
The treatment comes in a glass roller ball, making it really easy to apply to your pimples.
Not only does this help with acne, but I recently saw that I was starting to get a cold sore (thanks winter viruses), so I kept applying this every hour for 4 hours, and the next day it had almost disappeared.
This treatment also doesn’t sting, even when applied to freshly squeezed spots.
This used to be my all time go to, and honestly, I have no idea why I stopped using it!
Someone recently reminded me about this cream, and I’ve never been so thankful!
This is quite a thickish cream to which to apply directly to your acne, and can see a visible difference in a matter of days.
I’m unfortunately running low on this now, but I’ll definitely be repurchasing this again soon! Manuka Doctor have also brought out another Blemish Cream, so I’ll be intrested in seeing how the two compare!
What’s your favourite acne treatment?
