The best post day is when my subscription boxes arrived. It feels like a mini Christmas whenever It’s time to unbox them. January Look Incredible box contains some golden brands such as Gucci, Tarte and Lorac. Let’s have a look shall we?
January Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box
Gucci Impact Longwear Eye Pencil – £22.00
Impact Longwear Eye Pencil enhances the lash line for a dramatic definition. The intensely colored formula glides on smoothly, stays soft for 30 seconds for blending, then rapidly sets for a remarkable smudge-resistant finish. The combined effect of special wax, poylmer and film formers create a waterproof, intensely coloured pencil.
If you saw my last Look Incredible unboxing, you would know I also received a Gucci product last month. Even though I squealed like a pig when I saw this in the box, I am quite disappointed since I rarely use plain eyeliner pencils. Give me some colour, Look Incredible!
Lorac Riesling Romance Eye Shadow Palette – £35.00
Create sweet, romantic eyes that sparkle and shine with the Lorac Riesling Romance Eye Shadow Palette! This exclusive, ultra-luxe palette is packed with seven universally flattering, neutral matte and shimmer Eye Shadow shades that are perfect for any celebration. Cheers to the endless possibilities with the Riesling Romance Palette!
I haven’t tried anything from Lorac, so I am excited to give this a go. I do wish it was more brighter colours since I rarely do a bronze/brown eye, but maybe this will entice me to use more neutral colours.
Tarte Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick – £20.00
Discover long-wearing lip colour powdered by H2O with this full coverage hydrating lipstick. The ultra-creamy vegan formula combines intense pigments & buttery-smooth conditioners for a comfortable-swipe-colour that locks in place with no feathering or bleeding. Make water work for you through each sea-inspired shade infused with regenerative lip-quenchers & the antioxidant Rainforest of the Sea™ complex to help smooth the look of lip lines.
When Tarte sent out the PR packages of these lipsticks, I was instantly jealous and knew I needed to try them out. I don’t think I’d ever personally pay £20 for a single lipstick, but everything about this is stunning. The packaging feels a lot more luxurious than I had first thought, and the shade is beautiful.
Living Proof Style Lab Straight 60ml – £18.00
Extend the life of straight styles and eliminates all frizz with the Living Proof Style Lab Straight Styling Spray, a weightless, fast-absorbing formula. The Straight Styling Spray will enable you to create sleek, straight and shiny hair-styles without the use of oils, resins or silicones. The lightweight formula can be applied to wet or dry hair and will extend your style for days, without any build-up. The Style Lab Straight Styling Spray contains aerosolized Plyfluoro-Ester, Living Proof’s breakthrough molecule, which creates a weightless shield around the hair to prevent water from disrupting your straight style. Even when the weather’s tough, your hair won’t show the strain.
Not a fan of this at all. Not because it’s a bad product, but I barely brush my hair, let alone use any product in it (other than a whole tin of dry shampoo). I can see why people would love to receive this (like my mum will be once I give it to her), but it’s just not for me.
Worth Of January’s Look Fantastic Box – £95.00
I can’t work out my thoughts on this box. I’m not going to be using the hair product, and I will use the other three, but I doubt very regularly. As much as I love the lipstick, I have so many other lipsticks I’ve been loving at the minute that I have a feeling it’s going to take me a while to use it a decent amount of times.
Look Incredible, please start including brighter makeup products in your boxes!
