You’ve most likely about heard and seen this Essence Lash Princess False Lash Mascara everywhere… and I mean everywhere. This mascara seems to very quickly become a viral hit, but how good can a £3.30 mascara really be? I’ve been trying to get my hands on this mascara ever since I saw it posted on various Facebook beauty groups, but luckily, I managed to get it online from Wilko.
‘Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara will help you unleash your inner princess! The special, conic shape of the fibre brush provides lashes with length, dramatic volume and a false- lash effect. The packaging is decorated with a gorgeous evening dress in black-mint. Princess(ence) deluxe!’
£3.30. Bloody bargain. I’m stick of seeing hyped up products that cost an arm and a leg!
Also, please don’t let the hype get to you too much that you end up buying it for the ridiculous price that some people are selling it at.
AQUA (WATER), CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), PARAFFIN, GLYCERYL STEARATE, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN WAX, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PALMITIC ACID, ACACIA SENEGAL GUM, POLYBUTENE, AMINOMETHYL PROPANOL, STEARIC ACID, CARNAUBA (COPERNICIA CERIFERA) WAX, VP/EICOSENE COPOLYMER, DIMETHICONE, POLYESTER-4, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, TOCOPHEROL, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, PHENOXYETHANOL, POTASSIUM SORBATE, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES).
The mascara comes in a light plastic black tube, with a rubber green detailing on the lid. Whilst I’m not usually a fan of lightweight products, I actually like the look of this.
Whilst I haven’t compared the wand to my other mascaras, it does seem to be longer than most.
The bristles themself are very close together and quite short, making it really easy to get to the base of your lashes.
I wish I realised that unblended line in my eyebrow before I went out today…
After reading a few other reviews, a lot of people said how they found this mascara flaked off after a few hours. Honestly..? I don’t think we’ve been using the same product.
I can’t express my love for this enough! No, it isn’t the best mascara I’ve ever tried, but for a mascara that not only lasts all day, but also is only £3.30? I’m going to buy this forever more.
It’s extremely black, is really easy to build up on layers, and really holds the curl.
Even though it’s easy to build layers, I haven’t managed to create the fullness that was shown in the ‘viral’ photo, but I’m not too pissed about it.
I’d definitely recommend that everyone gives this mascara a go. Even if you don’t love it, it’s only £3.30. Not much of a loss there!
Have you tried out this mascara? What did you think?
