The Best Christmas Makeup Gifts 2018

We’re less than 2 weeks away from Christmas Day. 4 more weeks until I’m eating myself into a food coma, and dedicating my whole evening to watching the Christmas soap specials. But let’s be real here. No soap special will ever beat THAT Eastenders episode when Bradley Branning fell from the top of the roof. Anyway, less talk of the Eastenders episode that I will never truly recover from, and more talk about The Best Christmas Makeup Gifts. I feel as if I have everyone’s presents brought, but I can’t help looking at every single makeup offer there is. It’s like the saying goes ‘one for you, one for me‘, right?

Soap & Glory

Soap & Glory products always blow me away. I was hooked from the moment I tried out one of their products for the first time – their Clean On Me Creamy Shower Gel. Since then, Soap & Glory have brought out a huge new range of products, from skincare to makeup.

A good 4 years back, I managed to get my hands on one of their huge Christmas gift sets that sell, and now it’s become a tradition for me to get my hands on at least one of their gift sets. This year, they’ve brought out the big guns, and have blessed us with a huge range of gift sets.

Firstly, the Triple Glammy gift set contains three mini products inside – Thick & Fast Mascara, Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss and Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve briefly spoken about my love for the Thick & Fast Mascara before, so I’m over the moon to see it included in this gift set. Even though I’m not the worlds biggest lip gloss fan, I’ve gone through multiple tubes of Sexy Mother Pucker, and the eyeshadow palette looks right up my street. The smaller sized products also make them really handy to throw in your bag, and take on a night out.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the products featured in the Soap & Glory Glitz The Girl gift set, but I can’t say I’m disappointed. A Kohl Pencil Eyeliner, Metallic Matte Lip Cream AND a Golden Face Glitter Gel? I’m sold.

If you know me, you know how much I adore having long, natural nails. Whilst I love the look of freshly painted nails, I’m rarely seen with any colour on them. I think it’s mainly due to the fact I’m an intense nail polish picker, so after an hour, you can guarantee that I’ve already picked half of it off.

Gel nail polish has always been something that sounds perfect for me, but I’ve never bitten the bullet and had it done. That was until a Sensationail Kit arrived at my doorstep.

Inside the box has everything you need to create beautiful, long lasting nail colour, whilst strengthening your nails at the same time.

Another big bonus? The polish has practically zero drying time, meaning you no longer have to walk around like Edward Scissorhands until they’ve fully dried down.

Lastly, Sensationail have pretty much every single polish colour you could ever want. The hardest part is choosing what shade to wear first.

We all by now know about my love for Pixi.

Like most brands, Pixi never fail to deliver the most beautiful Christmas gifts. They’ve kept some old favourites like a supersized Glow Tonic, but in new festive packaging, and also brought out a brand new palette.

The Pixi Ultimate Beauty Kit 5th Edition contains 20 matte eyeshadow shades, 20 shimmer eyeshadow shades and also 9 face powders. A beauty lovers dream…

Anastasia Beverly Hills

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I now finally am the proud owner of my first ever Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Palette – the Prism Palette.

As much as I know the quality is incredible, I could never see myself spending £40+ on a single eyeshadow palette, when I know full well I could just pick up a drugstore dupe. However, I popped into my local TK Maxx about a month ago, and couldn’t believe it when I came across the Prism and Subculture palette, along with multiple ABH contour kits all around £20.

If you’re buying high end makeup for someone this year, make sure you don’t forget to check TK Maxx first. It’s always FULL of bargains, and why pay the full price when you can get it for half?

I’ve also included some more Christmas makeup gifts down below to give you a little more inspiration. We all know that Christmas can equal big bills, so before you press checkout, make sure you head over to dealsqueen and hunt down some voucher or discount codes first. With codes from sites like Charlotte Tilbury and Ted Baker, you’re not going to want to miss out.

Whether you decide to gift them to someone else, or treat yourself to something new (especially now since you have access to those discount codes!), I hope you all enjoy the Christmas period and have a wonderful 2019.
