I can’t believe how amazing this August 2018 Look Incredible subscription box is. Usually, I find myself never being over the moon with the whole contents of the box, but this month is very, very different. Each and every product inside this months box is something that I know I’m going to end up using. It’s also really nice to see a box full of makeup goodies, instead of the skincare products that usually fill up 3/4 of the box.

Achieve eye-catching lashes with Benefit They’re Real! Mascara in Black, an intensely volumising cult formula that creates an amazing false lash effect. The glossy black mascara coats each lash from root to tip, lengthening and thickening without drying them out. The exclusive brush design uses staggered bristles that capture even the smallest fibres to lift, separate and curl lashes. The results are defined, full and fluttery.
I’ve only ever tried a dupe of this from W7, but never the real deal. I’d seen so many different bloggers chatting about how great Benefit mascaras are, but I could never convince myself to buy myself one.
Luckily, I didn’t actually have any makeup on when I opened this, so I tried this out within the next hour. I don’t hate it, but I don’t particularly love it either. It lengthens and separates my lashes really well, but I’m more of a volumizing gal.
Dior ushers in a new era in lip makeup with the breakthrough creation of a lipstick that boats a hydra-gel core with a top coat effect for sensational mirror shine, concentrated in the shape of a CD in the centre, the ultra-moisturising soft core runs the full length of the stick. Application after application, it works like a top coat, adding an extra dose of shine and colourfastness with unbelievable comfort.
In my first ever Look Incredible box, I received a Dior lipstick. I couldn’t believe that had just received my first ever Dior product, and it was through a subscription box.
I haven’t had the heart to wear this yet, let alone swatch it, so I can’t really talk about this too much. However, I do hope that this is almost like a muted pink, rather than the intense pink it appears in the bullet.
The Dual Intensity Blush from NARS Cosmetics features two shades of purely pigmented colour to give cheeks a healthy glow. Specifically formulated with the brand’s unique Translucent Prismatic Technology, the weightless blushers contain pearls to deliver multi-dimensional effects. The silky texture and wet-dry formula allows the duo to be applied with a dry or dampened brush for a diverse range of coverage. Housed in a compact design for use on-the-go.
Whilst I haven’t tried a lot from NARS, I can honestly say I’ve loved every single one of their products I’ve tested. This duo blush is no exception. The super pigmented formula means that you only need to dab your blush brush in a tiny amount. I tried this out by mixing the two shades together, and oh my god. Glowy, pink, rosey cheeks? Yes please.
Real gold is infused in this ultra-fine loose glitter for a buildable formula that can be used as a highlighter, eye shadow, on lips, or anyway else you want to create a high-impact sparkling gold finish.
Everyone by now should know how obsessed with glitter I am. I was very kindly sent a huge bundle of glitter a year ago, and ever since then, I adore the stuff.
This Too Faced Loose Glitter is somewhere in the middle of a loose pigment and a glitter. Personally, it’s a bit to glittery for me to use as a highlighter, but I can imagine it would look absolutely stunning on the eyelid. A few boxes ago, I got sent the Too Faced Glitter Glue, so I can’t wait to see how these two pair up together.
