As soon as I opened up the January 2019 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box, I was completely blown away by the goodies inside. I’d say the majority of the time, I’m really happy with the contents of the Look Incredible box, and I’d still say that it’s definitely the best subscription box out there.
However, the last few boxes I’d received haven’t been the best. I’d really like half the products, but I knew that the other half I wouldn’t really use/use at all.
Even though I haven’t been a fan of every product in the last few boxes, I still stayed subscribed because the overall value of the box is incredible for only £35 a month.
Luckily, the January 2019 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box has taken me back, and made me realise it is definitely worth being subscribed too, even if I wasn’t a huge fan of the last product. If only every box was as good as this months!
“Long-wear, fade-proof, smudge-proof blush that keeps cheeks perfectly flushed for up to 16 hours. Pigment-rich shades give the ultimate pop of pretty colour. Buttery-soft formula offer weightless wear pigment-rich, high-impact shades off unabashedly bold colour payoff”
In my first ever Look Incredible Deluxe box, I received a Too Faced Love Flush blush, and I’m still very much in love with it now, as I was then.
Despite normally liking ‘expensive’ and ‘fancy’ looking packaging, I’m actually a really big fan of this. The packaging is ridiculously cute, and really reminds me of Polly Pockets sets that I used to be obsessed with.
When I first saw the shade, I did think it was going to be too dark for my skin. Luckily, as soon as I popped it on the apples of my cheeks, I fell in love with it, just like I did with my original one.
Whilst it is a darker shade, it doesn’t look too bold and bright on my pale skin. Just remember to use a light hand, as they are quite pigmented!
“Saturated colour and liquified shine lacquer lipstick. The first lacquer in a stick by Dior delivering full colour coverage and liquified shine with just one swipe. A stick with ‘Lip Fondant’ texture that liberates all the colour and shine of a lacquer, plus the comfort of a balm, with 6 hours* of wear and unrivalled sensorially. Its secret? An exclusive Dior combination of 5 ultra-shiny, ultra-light nourishing oils and beeswax for added nourishment and long wear. The weightless feel of this easy-to-wear shine glides on with one-coat completion and make lips feel hydrated and utterly comfortable.”
Oh, hello gorgeous!
Firstly, the packaging of this liquid lipstick is absolutely stunning. The weight of the packaging makes it feel luxurious and expensive (which it is, so I’m very glad it doesn’t feel weightless!) and the whole design of the packaging is truly incredible.
Can you imagine how pretty these would look, all lined up on your makeup table? A girl can only dream…
“Expertly crafted, the Magnetic Colour Shadow Duo fuses vibrant hues with lavish textures. A carefully balanced pairing, each eyeshadow duo is saturated with pigment, while powder particles are pretreated and primed for high-colour impact. Buildable colour use. Use the lighter shadow on the top of the eye to even skin tone, and the complementary darker shadow to push back, contour and define the eye shape.”
Like the Too Faced Love Flush blush, I’ve already received one of these in a past Look Incredible box (do I honestly need to give you any more reasons to sign up?!). I’m now a mother to my second Gucci Magnetic Colour Shadow Duo!
Unlike my other Duo, this compact is home to two brighter shades – a green and a blue.
I can’t see myself using the two in combination with each other, however I can imagine them looking beautiful under my bottom lash line.
Too Faced Borderline Smoothing Anti-Feathering Lip Pencil
“Smoothing Anti Feathering Lip Pencil is colourless to match every colour in your lipstick wardrobe. Keep both lipstick and lipgloss from bleeding past your lips borders when applied just outside your lip line.”
I’ll be honest and say I’m not really a lip liner kinda gal. If I’m wearing a really bold lip colour, then I may use one, however if I’m just wearing a nude shade, I don’t really see the point in it.
Even if I was a fan of lip liners, I’m not too convinced I’d find myself reaching for this. I’ve never found myself wanting one, but I’ve also never really noticed my lip colour bleeding either.
I will give it a go, however I’m not too convinced it’ll become a holy grail product for me.
