Where on earth is this year going? I know I’ve said that line so many times already, but I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I unboxed my September Look Incredible box. Anyway, the October 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe Subscription Box arrived on my doorstep a few days ago, and despite loving every single product, I’m still not that wow’ed by this months box. The total of the contents of this box is worth over £91, so even though I saved myself a hell of a lot of money, I still wish there was a main focus product.
“Escape to beautiful Seattle! Influenced bu the city’s coffee culture, charming architecture and the lush greenery of its forests, that have inspired the city’s nickname, Emerald City, this 12-well palette features deep green tones with gold highlights and rich neutrals.”
Even though I rarely wear eyeshadow now, I was really happy to see this palette in this months October 2018 Look Incredible Deluxe subscription box.
The colours are right up my street, and I can’t get over how much I adore the shade ‘Fremont’. Perhaps this is the palette I needed to kickstart my love for eyeshadows again!
“This creamy highlighter that builds from sheer to intense magic. Ultra-concentrated pigments & pearls are suspended in the hybrid gel-cream, oil free formula that you can mix with your liquid foundation or wear alone for naturally lit luminosity.”
Usually, I don’t tend to like liquid highlighters, but this one is breathtaking.
From the description, I didn’t think it was going to be super blinding, but I was so wrong. Everywhere on Instagram, I’ve seen highlighters like this, but I’ve always assumed they’ve been highly edited due to the fact I’ve never been able to find one. Up until now.
The formula is super lightweight, and I honestly cannot wait to try it out.
“From the mastermind behind our bestselling false lashes comes Lip Contour – a multi-tasking liner-meets-lipstick, enriched with hydrating ingredients to both define lips’ shape and cloak them with a velvety-matte veil of conditioning colour. Perfect for creating the illusion of enhanced lip volume, each shade combines intense pigment with incredibly longevity (and vegan ingredients!), for a show-stopping lip-look that lasts.”
I’m awful at remembering to apply lip liner. Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of sensibly over lined lips, but I can never be bothered with it.
Luckily, this shade is beautiful, and I can definitely see me using it as an all over colour.
Laura Geller Love Me Dew Lip Crayon
“Juicy way to love your lips! Infused with Vitamin E, Love Me Dew features an ultra-hydrating, healing formula with a luxurious balm-like texture. Shiny colour wears comfortably – never dry or sticky! This convenient chubby stick never needs sharpening and is perfect for touch-ups on the go.”
Lip crayons definitely don’t get enough credit. They’re super easy to apply, they don’t dry your lips out, and they also really easy to remove at the end of the day.
I’ve got a few different lip crayons from different brands, but I’ve never tried one from Laura Geller. I adore Laura Geller products, so I can only imagine I’m going to fall in love with this!
When are lip crayons going to get their limelight?!
