We think that all of you reading this could use a little bit more self confidence in your life. On a daily basis, think about how many times you doubt yourself. Because our mind is both a wonderful and a terrible thing. We live in an illusion that we’re never going to be good enough, or that people are picking out all of the faults that we believe we have. Or you could live in a world that’s the complete opposite, and feel as though you’re absolutely perfect. What you need to do is find a happy medium. If you always have something to work towards to make sure you’re bettering yourself, you’re always going to get the most out of life. But if you believe that you’re perfect and nothing can be changed, then you might never become the best version of yourself!

Gaining Self Confidence

Ok, so we’ll start with the basics. We think there is one easy way of gaining a bit of self confidence, and that’s writing a list of all of the things that you think you do good. Whether it be things you like about yourself, or things you think you’re good at in life. At first the page might be blank, which is one of the problems we have. We find it so easy to pick out the faults, yet so hard to pick out the positives. So, even if your list is filled of things such as you’re good at cooking, it’s a start! It doesn’t have to be linked to beauty, because we’re just trying to build your confidence to begin with. Once you start thinking about all of the things that you’re good at in life, you start to think about all of the things you like about yourself. You realise that beauty is being happy with who you are as a person, and then you can focus on actual beauty!

Your Idea Of Beauty

So, what is your idea of beauty. Is it those Instagram models that you see, or is it the simple look that you admire the most. We believe that beauty isn’t all about hiding behind makeup, it’s about your natural self that you need to fall in love with. To do this, you have to focus on the small things that have been bugging you. Whether it be visiting a dental practice to get braces, or going to a dermatologist if you’ve never been happy with your skin. Fix the things that you have always disliked, rather than trying to hide behind a screen with makeup. The happier you are with your natural self, the more beautiful you’re going to feel

Working On Yourself

Finally, work on yourself if you want to feel beautiful. Even something as simple as eating right can put you in the right mindframe. A bad diet can often clog our mind as well as our bodies. Go for a nice walk each morning and appreciate the day, or finish your day relaxing in the bath with a book. Work on the things that you like about life, and make the most of every day!
